Exsalt wound dressing featured in scoping review & pilot study in the treatment of chronic wounds by W21C
Alberta Innovates Technology Futures Voucher Program, Exciton Technologies Inc. and W21C, University of Calgary/Alberta Health Services have formed a collaborative endeavour with the objective of conducting a pilot study aimed at providing clinical testing of a novel antibacterial ExsaltTM wound dressing utilizing AG OxysaltsTM technology.
Co-Principal Investigators, Drs. John Conly and Chester Ho will provide content expertise to lead the study; Drs. Laurie Parsons and Ranjani Somayaji from the Sheldon Chumir wound Clinic and HPTP Clinic will serve as Co-Investigators to provide additional guidance on methodology and sample collection.
