President and Founder
Exciton Technologies founder and CEO Rod Precht is an experienced chemical engineer, inventor, and corporate leader. Rod draws on his own experience in successfully commercializing silver wound dressing products to guide Exciton’s development and growth.
Melanie Ussyk
Director of Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs
Melanie has 16 years' experience in Quality Assurance and GMP operations. She is a Certified Quality Auditor through the American Society for Quality and have been involved in several successful regulatory audits (FDA, Health Canada & KFDA). On top of maintenance of the Quality System, Melanie's focus is on the development and implementation of regulatory and quality strategies to enable marketing of Exciton's products worldwide.
Karen Chomiak, CPA, CGA
Director of Finance
Karen is a professional accountant with more than 20 years experience in management and financial accounting, information systems, human resources and purchasing. She has extensive experience with public companies in the life science and manufacturing sectors.
Karen Dunstan
Manager, Engineering and Operations
Karen is a Professional Engineer with over 8 years experience in medical device and pharmaceutical product development and manufacturing. Karen provides operations and product/process development leadership to grow value responsibly, in a profitable and sustainable manner.
